Trump Receives Statue at His Florida Golf Club (VIDEO)

A CEO has gifted ‘The Defiance Monument’

A statue of Donald Trump has been installed at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The sculpture, named ‘The Defiance Monument,’ shows the former U.S. president raising his fist, seemingly referencing his reaction after an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last July. Reportedly, moments after a bullet grazed his ear, Trump stood up, raised his fist, and exclaimed, “Fight! Fight! Fight!”

The incident, involving multiple shots fired, resulted in one fatality and two severe injuries, with the gunman being killed by US Secret Service snipers at the scene.

Trump participated in the statue’s unveiling on Saturday, posing for photographs with Anthony Constantino, the CEO of Sticker Mule company, who donated the monument.

According to a statement from Sticker Mule’s press office, the president “was visibly proud upon seeing the seven-foot (2.13-meter) bronze monument for the first time.”

“The president was in a happy, joking mood which was great to see,” Constantino stated.

The monument is located between the clubhouse and the first tee of the 27-hole golf course and is “easily visible to all members,” the statement added.

Constantino, a Trump supporter since his first presidential term, commissioned the statue from Steven Barber, a filmmaker and sculptor based in Los Angeles, in the fall for $275,000.

The entrepreneur previously mentioned that donating the monument to Trump presented legal challenges. “It is complicated with presidents and gifts and all that, so I guess technically I am loaning it to [Trump],” he said.

In February, US sculptor Alan Cottrill revealed a 15-foot (4.6-meter) bronze statue of Trump, named ‘Don Colossus,’ also depicting him with his fist raised. This piece is planned to tour the country before being permanently installed at the future Donald J. Trump Presidential Library.

Since 2016, several other Trump statues have been created in the US and internationally, including in Slovenia and China. However, some, such as ‘Dump Trump’ and ‘The Emperor Has No Balls,’ have portrayed the former president negatively.
