Allegedly, Willie Revillame is being wooed to replace Eat Bulaga’s veteran hosts, Vic and Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon (TVJ). Earlier, reports surfaced that former congressman Romy Jalosjos was planning a takeover of the noontime show from his business partners. He allegedly wants to kick out Antonio “Tony” Tuviera and replace TVJ. Cristy Fermin reported on the issue and commented that the “internal struggle” had been going on even before the pandemic.

Now, a shocking story is going around that says Jalosjos is trying to get Wowowin’s Revillame to take over as the new host of Eat Bulaga. While this remains unconfirmed, many netizens are already speculating that there’s a possibility for it to happen. Revillame has jumped from ABS-CBN to GMA, and recently on AllTV.

Unfortunately, AllTV’s flagship shows were put on suspension, including Revillame’s Wowowin. He, however, clarified that his show will return on air as he shows off the new Wowowin studio that they are currently building.

The speculation of Revillame becoming an Eat Bulaga host has earned various reactions from netizens. While many were surprised, many were also not pleased. Some were also not convinced that Revillame would accept the alleged offer.

Meanwhile, not to be outdone, there are also reports that TVJ is planning to launch its own show, “Dabarkads.” It’s still unclear who will join them in this new program. However, Fermin revealed that the hosts of Eat Bulaga made an agreement that they would all leave the show once TVJ and Tuviera leave.

Many Eat Bulaga viewers are still waiting for the outcome of the ongoing power struggle between the show’s executives and hosts.
