FULL RESULTS: September 2022 Librarian board exam list of passers, top 10


MANILA, Philippines – The September 2022 Librarian board exam results, which include the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools, are all available here as expected to be released on September 16 or in three (3) working days after the exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Librarian licensure exam (LLE) on September 12 and 13 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban and Tuguegarao.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.


VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

Librarian board exam’s verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC’s “Verification of Rating” service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.


COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The two-day examinations covered the following subjects: library organization and management, reference, bibliography, and user services, indexing and abstracting (Day 1); cataloging and classification, selection and acquisition and information technology (Day 2).


RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 1439 s. 2021 titled “Schedule of Licensure Examinations for Year 2022,” the target release of recent Librarian board exam results is on Friday, September 16 or in three (3) working days after the exam.

However, results may be released on later date without prior notice.


PREVIOUS EXAMS

In the September 2021 Librarian board exam, PRC released results in just two (2) working days. A total of 113 out of 237 passed the exams. Francisco Fillon Magpantay Jr. from University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman topped the board with 90.50%. UP-Diliman, Saint Paul University-Surigao, Adventisit University of the Philippines and University of Mindanao-Davao City were the top performing schools with identical 100% passing rate.

In the last Librarian board exam before the pandemic, PRC released results in three (3) working days. PRC named 565 out of 1,024 who passed the exams. Daniel Soriano Balbin Jr. from Benguet State University – La Paz aced the board with 89.75%. UP – Diliman topped the schools with 100% passing rate or 36 examinees passed.

In the September 2018 Librarian licensure exams, PRC announced results in 2 working days. A total of 466 out of 951 successfully hurdled the exams. Lyandrea Grace Daoas Capuyan from Saint Louis University (SLU) led the passers with 88.60%. BSU – La Trinidad topped the schools with 80.36% or 45 out of 56 passed.

In the September 2017 exams, results were also out in 2 working days. A total of 545 out of 904 passed the exam. Apolonio Martinez Patron of University of Santo Tomas (UST) aced the board with 90.85%. UP – Diliman was the top performing school with 100% passing rate or 27 examinees passed.
