Expert: ICC wields pressure against ‘neo-colonies’

A military analyst speaking to RT has claimed the International Criminal Court (ICC) is influenced by those promoting a “rules-based world order.”

According to Drago Bosnic, a military expert and contributor to the Bangladeshi Blitz newspaper, the ICC is used by “globalists” to impose rules on nations they seek to control, while exempting themselves from these same rules. Bosnic made these claims in an interview with RT.

Several countries have recently voiced criticism of the ICC, including Hungary, whose National Assembly recently voted to withdraw from the institution.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, in announcing the decision, described the international court as “a politicized institution that has lost its impartiality and credibility.”

Bosnic suggested Hungary’s withdrawal might stem from a belief that it cannot rely on the ICC for protection “in case anything happens.”

He stated that “The ICC is essentially under the control of the political West… these so-called globalists or the people who represent the so-called rules-based world order.”

He further argued that proponents of this “rules-based” system believe that it applies to other countries, which they aim to control as “neo-colonies,” but not to themselves.

Hungary previously declined to enforce an ICC arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to Budapest in early April.

The ICC, lacking its own police force, relies on member states of the Rome Statute to detain and transfer suspects.
