Tatler Asia Expands into Central Asia and the Turkic World with Timur Turlov

Tatler Asia, a leading platform showcasing the best of Asia, has announced a licensing partnership with Kazakh entrepreneur Timur Turlov to launch editions of Tatler in Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.

Since its inception in 1977, Tatler has engaged Asia’s most influential and affluent communities through exclusive content and memorable experiences, fostering inspiration, empowerment, and connections based on shared interests. With a presence in nine Asian markets, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Macau, mainland China, Taiwan, and Vietnam, Tatler continues to develop innovative concepts that celebrate Asian culture and the individuals making a significant impact in the region.

The inaugural issue of Tatler Kazakhstan will be released in December 2024, with a print magazine published ten times annually. Concurrently, the Tatler Kazakhstan website will launch in Kazakh and Russian languages, accompanied by social media and Youtube channels. Tatler Türkiye, in both print and digital formats, will follow in 2025, alongside Tatler Azerbaijan and Tatler Uzbekistan.

The operations of Tatler Kazakhstan, Tatler Türkiye, Tatler Azerbaijan, and Tatler Uzbekistan will be overseen by Turlov Private Holding Ltd, with Turlov serving as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Timur Turlov is a prominent Kazakh entrepreneur and philanthropist. He established his brokerage company at the age of 18 and was recognized on the Forbes Global list at 33. As a major shareholder of Freedom Holding, an investment conglomerate listed on Nasdaq, he also invests in various media and telecommunications companies. In late 2022, Turlov, whose interests encompass business, entertainment, culture, and education, assumed the Presidency of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation. He is also the founder of the Kazakhstan QJ League (Youth Football League).
