The young founder and CEO of EarthImpact Innovations is developing India’s first menstrual care startup focused on non-carcinogenic, anti-fungal, and biodegradable products, with support from leading incubators.
Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Jun 8, 2025 – While many young professionals prioritize job security, Soham Srivastava chose purpose. With a background in polymer engineering and a passion for entrepreneurship, Soham made a bold move by leaving a traditional job after only 17 days to pursue the uncertainties and possibilities of entrepreneurship.
Today, Soham serves as the Managing Director & CEO of EarthImpact Innovations Pvt. Ltd., a startup dedicated to creating safe, sustainable, and circular solutions for feminine wellness. The venture is currently being incubated at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP), pre-incubated at AIC IIIT Kottayam, Wadhwani Foundation, AIC Nitte; and has been recognized within the top 7% of startups in WTFunds by Nikhil Kamath.
Soham’s path has been anything but typical. His entrepreneurial spirit emerged early on: during his college years, he founded and managed three startups, including Dante Lifestyle, Neapolitan Pizza Co. (as Chief Marketing Officer), and Aksher Graphics. His ability to combine creativity with strategy has allowed him to refine business models and brand identities for numerous early-stage businesses through his consulting work.
He received funding as a NIDHI Entrepreneur-in-Residence Grant from the Department of Science & Technology (DST) at IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP), and has presented at prominent events such as the Himalayan Startup Trek at IIT Mandi and the 127th National Startup Expo by Franchise India. Soham has also conducted research at IITs and Institutes of National Importance (INIs), and was recognized as a Child Scientist by the National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) during his school years.
Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Soham is involved in grassroots development through his work with Gramyajan Seva Trust, a non-profit organization focused on providing education, healthcare, and livelihood support to underprivileged communities in rural India.
Reflecting on his journey, Soham says, “I don’t think entrepreneurship is about success or failure–it’s about choosing discomfort for a cause that drives you. EarthImpact isn’t just a business; it’s a mission.”
