New York City, New York Mar 9, 2025 – On February 28, 2025, Lebanon’s Finance Minister, Yassine Jaber, revealed the World Bank’s creation of a $1 billion fund to aid Lebanon’s economic and infrastructural recovery. The World Bank has pledged $250 million as initial funding, with the remaining $750 million expected from international donors.
