Linda Olson, CEO & founder of Tampa Bay Wave, will deliver the keynote address at Seaworthy Collective’s Spring 2024 Startup Showcase in Miami on May 23, 2024. The event, now in its fourth year, will highlight the latest innovations from startup founders participating in Seaworthy’s Spring 2024 Startup Studio and Incubator program.

Event highlights will include live pitch presentations from startups tackling pressing ocean and climate challenges through solutions involving AI, pollution control, greenhouse gas reduction and removal, and coastal resilience and adaptation. The event will provide networking opportunities for attendees to connect with industry leaders, innovators, and community members passionate about marine and environmental conservation. Seaworthy’s Founder & CEO will share industry insights and announcements about new program offerings.

This year, seven pioneering startups founded by entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds will present. Each startup is developing technology, data, or science-based innovations to address critical environmental issues like coastal resilience, pollution, and greenhouse gas mitigation.

The seven Spring 2024 cohort startups are: Anthropic (San Francisco, CA), Coastal Protection Solutions, Inc. (Boston, MA), Floating Farms (Miami, FL), Climafi (Miami, FL), Sargassum EcoLumber (Homestead, FL), Ecovative Design (Boca Raton, FL), and Upwell (Oakland, CA).

“Our Seaworthy Showcase celebrates the dedication and progress of each founder in our program. Each pitch is a milestone and showcasing their impactful solutions not only fosters community connection but also ignites inspiration,” said Tamara Kahn, Seaworthy Collective’s Programs Director.

These startups participated in Seaworthy’s three-month accelerator connecting founders to its global network of over 2,400 members, 250 mentors, and $1 billion in investor assets.
