Rodan Energy Wins Top IESO Capacity Auction Bid, Solidifying its DR Leadership in Canada “`

Toronto, Ontario, December 5, 2024 – Rodan Energy Solutions achieved the largest share in the IESO Capacity Auction, solidifying its leading role as Canada’s primary Demand Response (DR) provider. The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) announced the auction results, allocating over 2122.2 MW for summer 2025 and 1524.6 MW for winter 2025/26. Rodan Energy has consistently held the largest market share since the auction’s inception, attributed to its advanced technology, energy market expertise, engineering capabilities, and customer-focused approach. 

Rodan Energy will manage over 300 MW of capacity for the summer and over 250 MW for the winter, providing Ontario’s electricity grid with a clean, cost-effective, and adaptable solution that benefits consumers economically.
