Houston, Texas, June 12, 2025 – Robert Slater, a leader known for his vision, will be speaking alongside other national figures at the Revitalization Summit on Saturday, June 14th. The summit will be held at the Acres Homes Business Development Center in Houston. MaKee Company, LLC is organizing the event, with sponsorship from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC). The goal is to empower underserved communities by offering free resources and tools for economic advancement.
Slater, recognized for his contributions to economic development and community advocacy, will be part of a panel of influential experts. This panel includes DeMark Liggins, the President & CEO of SCLC; Apostle Markita Brooks from Kingdom Wealth, LLC; and Kevin B. Kimble, Esq., representing the Financial Services Innovation Coalition.
