Dallas, Texas, September 9, 2024 – The International Supply Chain Protection Organization (ISCPO.org) today announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors: Marlene Weber, Vice President of Loss Prevention for Williams-Sonoma, and Jason Rowland, Risk and Compliance Officer North America for Asendia USA.
Marlene Weber serves as Vice President of Loss Prevention for Williams-Sonoma, Inc., a Fortune 500 company and multi-channel specialty retailer of high-quality home goods. Marlene leads a team dedicated to safeguarding the company’s assets, profitability, and employee safety. With 25 years of loss prevention experience, she oversees operations across 16 countries, including 600 store locations, 12 distribution sites spanning 16 million square feet, 2 manufacturing locations, and 50 hubs for final-mile delivery. Her team is committed to ensuring a seamless customer experience, managing every aspect of Williams-Sonoma’s operations from sourcing to delivery.
Marlene’s investigative expertise encompasses federal cases, leading her team in multimillion-dollar prosecutions. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various international, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. She holds an EnCE certification and conducts computer forensic investigations. Marlene earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. She is an active member of RILA and NRF and serves on the board of her local United Way chapter.
Joining the ISCPO Board is Jason Rowland, Risk and Compliance Officer for North America at Asendia, where he spearheads all compliance and loss prevention initiatives. Prior to Asendia, Jason spent eleven years with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, most recently serving as a Lead Transportation Security Inspector. In this role, he became an expert in federal regulations governing passenger and cargo air transportation. Jason was also responsible for training new inspectors and cultivating the next generation of regulators for the DHS Office of Security Operations, earning the “Inspector of the Year” award in 2015. He further led a team of Behavior Detection Officers, specializing in Behavioral Analysis. He is also the founder of JR Security Consultants, a compliance consulting firm specializing in guiding companies through regulatory hurdles in the aviation and international logistics sectors.
Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Scranton and a master’s degree from the Homeland Security Management Institute of Long Island University. He is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at Purdue University, expected to graduate in 2025.
