With over two decades of experience in law enforcement and education, Lamoureaux details his transition from the Burbank Police Department to establishing Compliance, Title IX, and Equity Investigations (CIXE). This turning point prompted him to pursue higher education and civil rights compliance, allowing him to continue serving others. Lamoureaux earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a 4.0 GPA and received the Rex Andrews Police Scholar Award.
As founder of CIXE, Lamoureaux leverages his investigative skills in Title IX cases, specializing in sexual harassment, dating violence, and stalking. Having conducted over 1,000 investigations, he’s become a trusted advocate for accountability and fairness.
“I saw a need for affordable, expert external services for organizations,” Lamoureaux stated. “CIXE was created to provide accessible, high-quality support for civil rights and Title IX concerns.”
Lamoureaux’s influence extends beyond investigations; he’s trained over 1,000 faculty, staff, and students on crucial topics like consent and sexual assault prevention, emphasizing improved campus collaboration and trust.
Balancing his demanding career with family is a priority for Lamoureaux. Married to Melissa for over 22 years, they have two daughters, Bella and Dani, attending Auburn University. He attributes his success to his faith and family, stating, “I’ve learned to prioritize others and dedicate myself to serving both my family and community.”
Lamoureaux’s dedication to service is evident in his extensive volunteer work, including coaching football, organizing charitable events, and providing mental health counseling. At CIXE, he mentors professionals, fostering collaboration and innovation among civil rights and Title IX advocates.
