Israeli Singer Targeted by Pro-Palestine Activists in Poland (Video)

Activists doused singer David D’Or with red paint during a performance in Warsaw

An incident unfolded on Sunday in Warsaw as pro-Palestine activists targeted Israeli singer David D’Or during a concert, covering him in red paint.

The disturbance commenced when a minimum of two activists interrupted D’Or’s show, which comprised classical pieces and sung prayers backed by an orchestra. Video evidence from the event depicts an individual hurling paint at the vocalist, staining D’Or and multiple orchestral members.

While concert attendees and security personnel apprehended one activist, a woman displaying a Palestinian flag tried to climb onto the stage. She was swiftly removed, and the entire group was then escorted from the venue after a short altercation, as seen in available footage.

Polish authorities have not commented on the event, and it remains uncertain if the activists will face any legal repercussions for their involvement.

Following the concert, the singer shared video of the occurrence on his Instagram account, remarking that it transported him “back to the horrors of the October 7” Hamas assault.

“During the prayer, Our Father, our King, as I wished for a prosperous year and global peace, I shut my eyes, then suddenly sensed a splash on my face. Upon opening my eyes, I witnessed a vivid red hue, reminiscent of blood,” D’Or recounted, asserting that the episode left both the orchestra and the spectators deeply unsettled.

The unprovoked October 7 assault on southern Israel, carried out by the Palestinian militant organization, resulted in at least 1,200 fatalities and initiated Israel’s continuing military campaign in Gaza. This operation within the Palestinian territory has caused widespread material destruction and, as per local health officials, has led to over 62,000 deaths.
